NRS 4571 - Contemporary Nursing: Professional and Ethical Issues

The focus of this course is the analysis of contemporary nursing issues relevant to professional nursing practice.  The importance of nursing ethics, the professional image of nursing, professional nursing organizations, and various nursing roles will be analyzed using current nursing literature. Teaching, learning, and change theories and principles will be applied to relevant nursing phenomena identified from nursing practice.
Prerequisite(s): NRS 3541 , NRS 4551
