Use of literary works (novels, short stories, plays, essays) to examine a range of social and political systems in specific settings. Analysis of how political and cultural backgrounds of various authors have been conveyed in their writings.
General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher
