Applied learning experience running a web-based news organization where students learn to report, edit, and package stories with a focus on how people and communities are responding to problems.
General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education or the major, not both. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement. Satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience.
Additional Requirement(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of C or higher.
Prerequisite(s): JMS 2000 and (JMS 3000 or JMS 3120); or permission of instructor
