Introduction to creative writing in at least two of the following genres: fiction, poetry, memoir or essay, and screenwriting. For students who do not major or minor in Creative Writing. Cannot be used to fulfill any requirements for the Creative Writing major or minor.
General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement in the knowledge applications integration area. Prerequisite for knowledge applications: completion of the general education requirement in the literature knowledge exploration area. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
