The distribution of random variables, conditional probability and stochastic independence, special distributions, functions of random variables, interval estimation, sufficient statistics and completeness, point estimation, tests of hypothesis and analysis of variance. STA 5114 meets with an undergraduate course, STA 4114. Student may not receive credit for both courses.
