The development of critical judgment regarding the nature and use of historical evidence: historiographical readings, library investigation into specific topics within a general historical subject, a research paper and a presentation of the paper to the seminar.
General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060 or equivalent with a grade of (C) or higher; one history course and history major or permission of instructor
