MIS 4060 - Managing Information Systems Projects

This course presents an overview of general project management techniques, methodologies, and their application to information systems project management. In addition, this course examines issues involved in managing information systems projects including project scheduling, measurement, assessment, budgeting and human resource management issues. The course also addresses specific software planning issues such as effort estimation, contingency planning, risk management and the application of user acceptance software process maturity models.
