Examines the centrality of communication to human experience including key concepts essential to understanding the processes and practices of communication, the theoretical models and traditions of the discipline, and the historical development of the field.
General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement in the knowledge applications integration area. Prerequisite for knowledge applications: completion of the general education requirement in the social science knowledge exploration area.
