EXS 3540 - Fit, Function and Modifications (3) In this lab-based course, the student will learn how to perform the necessary adjustments to achieve maximal fit, function, comfort and operation of orthoses and prostheses. The student will acquire the skills necessary to address volumetric fluctuations, prosthetic and orthotic alignment issues, pressure relief/distribution as well as minor repairs. The students will acquire skills that will include shaping, trimming, smoothing and appropriate material finishing. Prerequisite(s): EXS 2510 , EXS 3520
