PHL 3520 - Public Health Ethics (4) Study of ethics issues involved in population-level approaches to the promotion and governance of health. Includes normative ethical theories relevant to public health, core ethics concepts implicated by public health policies, and ethical issues in public health and health policy. General Education Requirement(s): Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in general education or the major, not both. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement. Satisfies the university general education requirement in the knowledge applications integration area. Prerequisite for knowledge applications integration: completion of the general education requirement in the Western civilization knowledge exploration area. Prerequisite(s): PHL 1300 or PHL 1320
