EHS 4200 - Applied Environmental and Occupational Hygiene (4) Evaluation of chemical, physical, and biological hazards in the occupational environment. General sampling and analytical methods are covered as well as the purpose and capabilities of specific instruments that are representative of the analytical methods. Demonstrations of the calibration, operation, and use of the instrumentation are provided along with measurement data that students incorporate into preliminary field logs and final reports. Formerly EHS 3360; credit cannot be received for both EHS 4200 and EHS 3360. Prerequisite(s): CHM 2010 (C); EHS 3380 (C+) and PHY 1200 (C)
