CSI 4430 - IT Project Management

Principles, practices, and tools used in planning and implementing IT projects involving hardware, software, and networks to create a product, service, or result. Using the framework of IT project life cycle, the course covers various aspects of project initiation, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and quality control. Selecting and procuring IT systems, project team management, cost and effort estimation, risk management, and mini-case studies leading to a complex class project. Formerly CSI 4410. Meets with CSI 5430. Credit may not be granted for both CSI 4430 and CSI 5430.
