ME 4545 - Fundamentals of Battery Systems for Hybrid & Electric Vehicles (4) This is an undergraduate-level course focused on energy storage systems that are the enabling technology for hybrid and electric vehicles. The engineering fundamentals of batteries will be introduced as well as their integration into energy storage systems for hybrid and electric vehicle applications. Formerly ME 6535 and also ME 536. This course meets with a graduate course. Credit cannot be received for both ME 4545 and ME 5545. Additional Requirement(s): Major Standing; Basic courses in physics, chemistry and thermodynamics. Prerequisite(s): EGR 2500, EGR 2800
