ME 4525 - Fuel Cell Science and Technology (4) Fundamental principles of fuel cells. Thermodynamics, electrochemistry, material and transport processes governing fuel cell operation. Structure and operation of various types of fuel cells. Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell modeling, design and testing. Fuel cell stack and system. Hydrogen generation, delivery and storage. Includes project. This course is cross-listed with a graduate course. Credit cannot be received for both ME 5525 and ME 4525. Additional Requirement(s): Major Standing Prerequisite(s): ME 3500
