WGS 3850 - Philosophy of Gender

Philosophical issues relating to gender are explored. Different approaches toward dealing with sexism will be examined, as part of an ongoing analysis of what constitutes human nature, freedom, equality and the relationship between the individual and the state.  Identical with PHL 3100 .
Prerequisite(s): WRT 1060  and one course in philosophy or one course in women and gender studies
