Directed undergraduate research in laboratory, field or theoretical biology. Should be initiated before or during the junior year. To be taken for an S/U grade (no paper required) by written arrangement with a biology supervisor for a maximum of 8 credits. BIO 4995 counts as one laboratory course for the major.
