CSI 1420 - Introduction to C Programming and Unix

Topics include binary numbers and C programming concepts such as data types, bitwise operations, control flow, arrays, pointers, structures, and input/output. Basic Unix commands and shell programming are covered, as well as Unix utilities for developing and debugging C programs. With laboratory. Students can receive credits for only one of CSI 1300 , CSI 1320 , CSI 1420, or EGR 1400 . Additionally, credit can be received for either CSI 1420 or CSI 2360 , but not both.
