Network Security will provide students a good understanding of different security aspects related to computer networks. Methods of network attacks and ways to defend against them will be discussed. Topics include attacks to different layers, security technologies, link layer security, network layer security, transport layer security and application layer security. The course includes a team project. Cross-listed with CSI 5600.
