HS 4300 - Lifestyle Medicine (4) This course introduces students to the principles and practice of Lifestyle Medicine (LM), an evidence-based approach to preventing, treating, and reversing chronic disease through lifestyle behaviors. The course emphasizes the six pillars of LM-nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, social connection, and avoidance of risky substances-and integrates behavior change science, interprofessional collaboration, and equity in health care delivery.
Prerequisite(s): HS 2000 and HS 3250 or PSY 2500
