Master of Science degrees in exercise science, public health, and safety management are also offered. Three graduate certificate programs are offered through the exercise science program, including clinical exercise science, corporate and worksite wellness and exercise science. Graduate certificates in orthopedic manual physical therapy, pediatric rehabilitation, orthopedics, teaching and learning for rehabilitation professionals, neurological rehabilitation, and oncology rehabilitation are offered through the physical therapy program to physical therapists, who have acquired clinical experience following their entry-level professional preparation. Additionally, a number of graduate-level courses are offered through the school’s program in occupational safety and health for students who wish to enroll on a non-degree basis or who may be able to apply these courses as electives to a graduate degree in a related field.
Admission to any program offered by the School of Health Sciences may be considered on a competitive basis, if the balance between applicants and available instructional resources requires such action to maintain the academic integrity of the program.
