The Department of Mechanical Engineering carries out the mission of the School of Engineering and Computer Science by offering undergraduate majors in Mechanical Engineering including various depth areas and concentrations. The department offers Master’s and Ph.D. programs in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s program in Energy Engineering. The department also offers a combined B.S.E./M.S. program in Mechanical Engineering, a minor in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Sustainability Engineering. The B.S.E. degree in the Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
