Workship Description
This 40-hour program is designed for law enforcement, medical professionals, attorneys and advocates who are interested in developing their roles within a multidisciplinary team. The training will focus on a patient-centered multidisciplinary team approach to care for adult and adolescent patients of sexual violence.
Nurses who attend all five days will be awarded 40 contact hours/4 CEUs. This conference follows the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Adult / Adolescent Educational Guidelines set by the International Association of Forensic Nurses. Nurses who attend all five days will receive the 40 hours of required coursework to begin the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner- Adult / Adolescent (SANE-A) certification examination.
