Requirements for the liberal arts minor in psychology
To earn a minor in psychology, students must complete a minimum of 24 credits in psychology with a minimum GPA of 2.00 over all psychology courses and must satisfy the following requirements: 1. Required courses (must be completed with a minimum grade of a (C).
2. One course from two of the following groups (8 credits)
Cognition, Perception, and Biological Psychology
3. One course from two of the following five groups
Evolutionary and Comparative
Cognition, Perception, and Biological Psychology
Notes
Students using this catalog to meet psychology minor requirements may also use any course subsequently approved as satisfying requirements in each of the five groups under requirement #3 and published in a later catalog.
Students with a major in the School of Health Sciences are allowed to apply 16 credits of coursework toward a minor in psychology.
