Students with this modified major in psychology must complete a minimum of 24 credits in psychology and 20 credits in linguistics including:

In addition to these major requirements, students must complete the Oakland University General Education Requirements, the College of Arts and Sciences Exploratory Requirements, and an appropriate number of free elective classes to meet the overall credit requirement for the degree (in most cases 124; some degrees may require a greater number).

Students with a major in the School of Health Sciences will be allowed to apply 16 credits of coursework toward a major (double major) in or minor in psychology.
