The minor in Human Resource Development is offered for students outside of the HRD major. The minor provides an overview of the field and an introduction to organization development, training and development, career and leadership development, and employment systems and standards. The minor helps prepare graduates with conceptual knowledge, and technical and interpersonal skills for a variety of careers in HR and other fields.
To obtain a minor in HRD a student must:
Complete the minor authorization form with the approval of an academic adviser.
Complete the minor core courses (24 credit hours) with a minimum grade of C+ in each course.
