Music Technology Minor

The curriculum for the minor in music technology is designed for auditioned music majors and auditioned minors. Up to 8 credits of this minor can overlap with the music major coursework. Students must complete a minimum of 24 credits in:

1. Eight credits in music technology courses

BM in Music Performance majors may not double-count these music technology courses as “Performance Electives” in degree

Applied lessons on the instrument or voice with which the student performed the entrance audition

Requirements for voice students:

MUS 1160 - Vocal Techniques (2) and then MUA 1000 - Voice (2)

4. Four credits of ensemble

Any MUE course; some ensembles are subject to audition
