Requirements
The minor in Applied Geographic Information Science (GIScience) provides a framework to understand theories, methods and techniques associated with geospatial technologies. Students then learn to apply GIScience and spatial technologies in real-world situations through a choice of directed study, fieldwork or internship opportunities.
To earn a minor in Applied GIScience, students must complete a minimum of 20 credit hours as follows:
