The minor in Sustainability Engineering is designed for engineering students who wish to emphasize sustainability principles and practices.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the Minor in Sustainability Engineering program is open to SECS students with Major Standing. Students must also satisfy any prerequisites for their selected courses.
Requirements for the minor in Sustainability Engineering
To fulfill the requirements for the Minor in Sustainability Engineering, a student must complete 16 credits described below. A minimum grade of (C) must be earned for each individual course. Students are required to verify and satisfy pre-requisites for each course they select as part of the minor. Students may need to obtain permission from the appropriate department in order to register for engineering courses at the 3000- and 4000- levels. At least 8 credits of courses chosen for the Minor in Sustainability Engineering must be non-duplicative with coursework in the student’s major,concentration, or another minor.

Electives (8 credits)
Complete 8 credits from the list below, including up to 4 credits of engineering electives and at least 4 credits of non-engineering electives.
