Requirements for the liberal arts minor in philosophy

To earn a minor in philosophy, students must complete a minimum of 16 credits in philosophy, including:

1. One logic course selected from

PHL 1000 - Introduction to Logic (4)
PHL 3000 - Advanced Symbolic Logic (4)

2. One ethics course selected from

PHL 2200 - Ancient Greek Philosophy (4)
PHL 2210 - Medieval Philosophy (4)
PHL 2220 - Early Modern Philosophy (4)
PHL 3210 - Twentieth Century British and American Philosophy (4)
PHL 3230 - Study of a Major Philosopher (4)

4. Complete one additional course in philosophy, courses must be numbered 3000 or above
