In order to graduate on-schedule without taking additional courses, it is highly recommended that students meet with an Undergraduate Academic Adviser concerning the selection of all of their general education courses. Each candidate for an Oakland University baccalaureate will need to satisfactorily complete approved courses in each of the following areas: Foundations, Explorations, and Integration. For details, refer to the General Education Requirements section of the catalog. Requirements for the liberal arts major in graphic design, B.A.
All majors in graphic design are required to successfully complete core foundation courses, art history courses and graphic design courses. Only courses in which the student has earned at least a C may be counted toward the graphic design major. Only 16 transfer credits may be counted towards the graphic design major. A minimum of 64 credits are required for the major, to be distributed as follows: 4. Graphic design electives - choose three
