Requirements for the Ethics in Criminal Justice Minor


The Ethics in Criminal Justice Minor prepares students for careers within and beyond the criminal justice system. The Ethics in Criminal Justice Minor opens doors for more specialized work, including conflict mediation, criminal and community lawyering, counseling and social work, public health, law enforcement, harm reduction, corrections, and restorative justice.

To earn a minor in Ethics in Criminal Justice, students must complete at least 16 credits of Philosophy from the courses below.

Additional Information


Credit toward the Ethics in Criminal Justice Minor will be allowed only for courses completed with a grade of C+ or higher.

Students who take PHL 3600 as a required course are strongly encouraged to choose PHL 3120 as an elective course (and vice versa).
