Combined Japanese Language and Literature, B.A./Health Care Administration, Graduate Certificate
The Combined Japanese Language and Literature, B.A./Health Care Administration, Graduate Certificate option is designed for high achieving undergraduate students pursuing a B.A. in a world language who wish to pursue a career in Health Care Administration.
Students admitted to this combined program can take any 6 credits of graduate-level courses from the graduate certificate while still an undergraduate and pay undergraduate tuition rates. Within the B.A. requirements, these 6 credits would replace any two courses that fulfill the Japanese Language and Literature B.A ., with the exception of JPN 3140, JPN 3550, JPN 3700, and JPN 4200, which would still be required. For students pursuing this B.A./certificate program, students do not need to compensate for the 2-credit difference in the major.
To be eligible for the combined BA to Graduate Certificate option, students must
- Have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher and;
- Completed at least 3 upper-level classes of the undergraduate program major courses;
- Apply for and receive delayed admission to the Graduate Certificate.
Note: Students must receive formal delayed admission into the Graduate Certificate program to be eligible to register for graduate courses in the Graduate Certificate program.
