Requirements for the Certificate in Media Writing

Students qualify for a Certificate in Media Writing by completing a minimum of three of the following courses listed below.

Elective courses (choose three):

• JMS 2000 - Introduction to Journalism (4)
• JMS 3000 - News Writing and Editing (4)
• JMS 3120 - Feature Writing (4)
• PR 2510 - Public Relations and Advertising Writing (4)
