Requirements for the liberal arts minor in Arabic

16 credits in Arabic (ARB) at the 2000 level or above.

Required course

Choose one of the following:

• ARB 3510 - Arabic Civilization (4)
• ARB 3570 - Medical Arabic (4)
• ARB 3700 - Arabic Literature (4)

Electives

Choose twelve additional credits from the following:

• ARB 2140 - Second Year Arabic I (4) *
• ARB 2150 - Second Year Arabic II (4) *
• ARB 3160 - Arabic Conversation (2)
• ARB 3180 - Arabic Composition (2)
• ARB 3510 - Arabic Civilization (4)
• ARB 3570 - Medical Arabic (4)
• ARB 3700 - Arabic Literature (4)

• *Depending on placement, ARB 2140 and/or ARB 2150 may be required courses due to prerequisites in the subsequent courses.
