Interdisciplinary Studies, B.I.S./Court Administration, Graduate Certificate, Combined B.I.S./Graduate Certificate


The Combined B.I.S./Court Administration Graduate Certificate option is designed for high achieving undergraduate students pursuing a B.I.S. and a Graduate Certificate in Court Administration.

Students admitted to this combined program can take 6 credits of graduate-level courses while still an undergraduate and pay undergraduate tuition rates. Within the B.I.S. requirements, these 6 credits would replace 6 credits of the required 32 credits at the 3000 or 4000 level. Students would still be required to complete BIS 3000 and BIS 4930.

To be eligible for the combined BA to Graduate Certificate option, students must

  • Have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher and;
  • Completed at least 4 courses at the 3000 or 4000 level and;
  • Apply for and receive delayed admission to the Graduate Certificate.
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average at completion of the B.I.S. and gain formal admission into the Graduate Certificate program.

Note: Students must receive formal delayed admission into the Graduate Certificate program to be eligible to register for graduate courses in the Graduate Certificate program.
