To earn a Bachelor of Arts with a combined major in sociology/anthropology, students must complete a minimum of 20 credits in sociology and 20 credits in anthropology including the following:

SOC 203 - Social Statistics with Computer Applications (4)

2. Required courses

AN 101 - Human and Cultural Evolution (4)

3. Required course

SOC 400 - Sociological Theory (4) or
AN 470 - Anthropological Theory (4)

No more than 8 credits counted toward the major may be taken in

SOC 190 - Current Issues in Sociology (4) or
AN 190 - Current Issues in Anthropology (1 or 4)
SOC 392 - Current Problems in Sociology (4) or
AN 392 - Current Problems in Anthropology (4)
SOC 399 - Field Experience in Sociology (4) or
AN 399 - Field Experience in Anthropology (4)
SOC 480 - Independent Study and Research (2 or 4) or
