Requirements for the liberal arts minor in theatre

To earn a minor in theatre, students must complete a minimum of 20 credits distributed as follows:

One acting course – 2 credits

THA 104 - Acting for Non-Theatre Majors (2) or
THA 110 - Acting: The Instrument (2)

One production course – 2 credits

One design course – 4 credits

THA 124 - Elements of Design (4)

One theatre history course – 4 credits

THA 301 - Theatre History I (4) or
THA 302 - Theatre History II (4) or
THA 305 - History of American Musical Theatre (4)

8 additional credits from any theatre courses except THA 100
