CNS 503 - Introduction to Counseling and Ethics

(4 credits)

An introduction to the counseling profession, including topics relating to professional identity, legal and ethical issues in counseling, and historical and social/cultural foundations of the counseling profession. Assignments are tailored to the student’s emphasis. Required for core mental health and school-based programs.

Prerequisite(s): Students must be admitted to the Master of Arts in Counseling program.
