ACC 6200 - Cost Management

(3 credits)

This course will give the student an introduction to cost management, which is a set of techniques and methods for planning and measuring and providing feedback to improve a company’s products and processes. Examples of items covered include cost issues related to product life cycle, quality, advanced technologies, strategy and customer/supplier relationships. Formerly ACC 620.

Prerequisite(s): ACC 5120 or completion of a course in managerial accounting.
