ME 5702 - Plastics Processing Engineering

(4 credits)

Polymeric materials and their manufacturing-related properties. Principles and design of extrusion, post extrusion processes, molding, and forming processes. Rheological behavior of polymers, melt-flow characteristics, modeling, and simulation. With project and laboratory. This course is cross-listed with an undergraduate course.
