Program of directed study under the guidance of a faculty adviser. Enrollment in this course must receive prior approval by the departmental graduate committee. Students must have completed 20 or more communication graduate credits prior to enrolling. May be taken one time for either 2 or 4 credits.
- CNS 664 - Counseling Practicum
Course modification effective Summer 2014 semester:
Application of counseling and consultation theories and techniques to practice with clients in a supervised lab environment. Includes individual and group clinical supervision of audio and video taped counseling sessions. Student must be admitted to the Master of Arts in counseling and must meet prerequisites (CNS 500, CNS 510, CNS 520, CNS 530, CNS 640, CNS 661, CNS 663 and (CNS 661/671 or CNS 674/675)) with a grade of 3.0 or better.
- MIS 604 - Introduction to Databases and Data Warehouses
Course description modification effective Summer 2014 semester:
An introductory yet comprehensive coverage of data modeling, database, design and implementation, SQL, and data warehousing. Provides a theoretical foundation and extensive hands-on experiences with relational and multi-dimensional databases. Includes introductory data mining concepts.
