HRD 367 - Cultural Diversity in the Workplace (4) Identifies relevant culture-specific issues related to race, gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, disabilities and religion. Examines historical context of culture-specific issues (knowledge). Facilitates awareness of values and their significance in helping relationships (self awareness). Presents an ecological framework for developing effective practices (skills). Satisfies the university general education requirement in U.S. diversity. Prerequisite(s): WRT 160.
