BIO 3662 - Neuropharmacology (4) Examination of drugs that affect nervous tissue. Includes basic principles and fundamentals of pharmacological actions on neurons and their synapses in relation to autonomic function, control of movement, mood and emotion, addictive disorders, higher cognitive function and psychosis, sleep arousal, pain, memory, dementias, and seizures and stroke. Prerequisite(s): BIO 2600 or BIO 3360 , and CHM 2340 ; and BCM 4254 or CHM 4254 with a grade of (C) or higher.
