ECN 4210 - Monetary Economics (3) Conducts a systematic treatment of monetary economics. Particular attention is paid to issues such as money demand, money supply, effects of money on the real economy (output and employment) and inflation, and effectiveness of monetary policy. Satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement. (Generally offered winter semester of even years). Prerequisite(s): ECN 3020 with a minimum grade of (C)
