PSY 4979 - Seminar: Resilient Aging (4) Advanced seminar examining psychological resilience in late life. Empirical and theoretical perspectives in developmental psychology emphasize resilience and healthy adaptation in late life, particularly as these pertain to personality factors, stress management, coping, social resources, neurological plasticity, health maintenance, and thriving. Satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience. Prerequisite(s): PSY 2500 and PSY 3230 each with a grade of (C) or higher, or permission of instructor.
