Statistical ideas and thinking relevant to public policy, quality improvement, and physical and social sciences. Data collection and presentation; association; normal distribution; probability and simulation; and confidence intervals, p-values, and hypothesis testing.

Prerequisite(s): MTH 0662 with a grade of (C) or higher or placement.
