BIO 5332 - Lake Ecology

(4 credits)

Lake ecology will examine the physical, chemical, and biological dynamics of lakes. The class will focus on interactions between abiotic and biotic factors including nutrient cycling, nutrient controls on primary production, and producer-consumer interactions through lectures, in class experiments, and examining national lake databases. Offered fall semesters, BIO 5332 is cross-listed with an undergraduate course, BIO 4332. Students cannot receive credit for both courses.
