ACC 5180 - Accounting Information Systems: Planning and Analysis (3 credits)
This course focuses on business modeling, data analytics and the integration of accounting systems with other information systems in the organization. In doing so, it emphasizes business risk as well as information technology risk and the controls that are available over both. Students should be capable of using the analytics and modeling skills acquired in this course in order to help analyze and develop modern, technologically relevant accounting information systems. Prerequisite(s): Student must be admitted to the Master of Accounting program.
