ALS 6633 - Curriculum and Assessment Design

(4 credits)

Comprehensive information on the identification, assessment, and proficiency placement of K12 English Learners as well as the design, evaluation, and selection of age and proficiency appropriate materials. Students will investigate authentic formal and informal pre- and post-instructional assessments. Additionally, students will create, judge, and adapt their own assessment tools and classroom teaching materials based on assessment results thus connecting assessment and instruction. Formerly ALS 6631 and ALS 6632.
