AED 5200 - Methods 1: Foundations of Art Education Teaching and Learning

Methods 1 promotes a theory-into-practice approach supporting learning about art education practices. Through lectures, readings and discussion sessions, reflection, and practicum field experiences, students explore trends in art educational practice for application in PK12 visual art teaching and learning. Unit planning development centers on ideation and artful inquiry.
